Why did you choose Fontainebleau and Japan as the locations for Chapter 0?
Fontainebleau was the ideal proving ground "accessible yet otherworldly". I was drawn to its raw, mineral and lunar aesthetic to build the project’s initial narrative.
Japan was the inevitable next step. As my spiritual home, it provides a unique sense of peace and limitless inspiration. Moving from the local forest to Japan’s extraordinary landscapes was the natural way to bridge the gap between "Ici" and "d'Ailleurs."
How did you select the garments and brand partners for Chapter 0?
My focus was on technical gear that doubles as a high-fashion statement, brands like Oakley and Ryaw embody this duality perfectly. Collaborating with agencies such as ASP, North Communication, and MRP, along with partners like Ryaw and Topologie, has been seamless.
They connected with the project’s DNA immediately. Their early trust and support mean a lot to me, and I’m proud to honor that partnership by elevating their pieces within this unique narrative.
Que signifie Venu d'Ici & d'Ailleurs ?
"Venu d’Ici & d’Ailleurs" (From Here & Elsewhere) represents the conceptual core of Chapter 0. It explores the duality between the local and the distant, merging the raw, terrestrial moonscapes of Fontainebleau with the spiritual sanctuary of Japan.
This phrase serves as a manifesto for the project, documenting the transition between earthly roots and futuristic pulses to seek elevation and a new perspective on the world.
